Membership

The Lantana Ladies League is more than a social organization. League members are professional women, stay-at-home moms and home managers who share a commitment to improving our community through a variety of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers may work in community organizations and League focus areas, and on League committees, fund raisers (e.g. Children's Advocacy Center for Denton County), and more. The League offers volunteer opportunities to fit your schedule.

What's In It for You?

  • Enjoy building relationships with a diverse group of current and emerging women leaders to help improve the community around you
  • Increase your understanding of the needs of your community
  • Enhance your volunteer and leadership skills, not to mention your sense of pride in helping to bring about positive change in your community
  • Share your talents with a network of interesting women
  • Increase your interactions with community agencies and community leaders
  • Fellowship and fun!

Special Interest Groups

Join the fun! Just email a group leader to get involved in the Special Interest Groups and meet other Lantana ladies with similar interests!

You must be a member of LLL to join a group. (Group leaders, please verify memberships.) You need not be a member of the Golf Club to meet there.

To form or lead a Special Interest Group, please contact Margo Carmichael at mangohere@verizon.net 940-241-2999

Financial and Volunteer Obligations

All Lantana Ladies League members are required to pay annual dues of $25.00 upon joining or renewing membership. Time spent on volunteer efforts will vary depending on your availability and interests. As a guide, League members are asked to contribute approximately three hours of volunteer time per month.
